# Bol Brings Its One-Click Checkout to Belgian Webshops

Bol is bringing its bol.checkout feature to Belgium, letting shoppers on participating independent webshops pay using the address and payment details already stored in their bol account rather than filling in a fresh checkout form each time.

At checkout, customers are offered the option to log in with their bol credentials, which pulls in their saved address automatically. Payment can then be completed through Bancontact, bol's own pay later option, or iDEAL and Wero. The feature is aimed at Belgian retailers running their own independent webshops, and plugs into common platforms including WooCommerce and Magento, with support for further platforms planned.

## Built on results from the Netherlands

The Belgian rollout follows an earlier launch in the Netherlands, where bol says hundreds of webshops already use bol.checkout and customer satisfaction has run at around 95 percent, with shoppers citing familiarity, ease of use and speed as the main draws.

Joris Scheepens, bol's chief advertising and new business officer, said the company has spent 27 years investing in a shopping experience that is fast, simple and hassle free, and that extending that technology to other retailers was a natural next step. Dennis Söser, co-owner of the webshop MijnLeesbril, said the feature has noticeably sped up checkout on his own site and helped cut down on customers abandoning their cart partway through a purchase.
