Some summer evenings are remembered for a performance. Others become part of the season's social mythology. On August 9, BIG ART Festival created the latter at Romazzino, A Belmond Hotel in Porto Cervo, gathering an international circle of guests for a night shaped by music, style, fine dining and the unmistakable glamour of Costa Smeralda.

The guest list reflected the international character of the evening. Domenico Dolce, Sylvie Meis, Tara and Jessica Getty and Caroline Scheufele were among the notable names welcomed to Romazzino, alongside figures from fashion, business and global society.

The setting played an essential role. Romazzino's refined Sardinian character, coastal landscape and discreet hospitality created a sense of occasion without overwhelming the intimacy of the event. From the welcome cocktail to dinner, the experience unfolded with warmth and precision.

One of the evening's visual highlights came through Chopard and Caroline's Couture, whose high jewellery and fashion presentations added another dimension to the programme. Their presence reinforced the festival's ability to place different expressions of luxury in conversation with one another.

Another important partner was DENZA, the premium mobility brand of BYD Group. Following the launch of its collaboration with BIG ART Festival in Hong Kong earlier in 2026, the partnership continued in Sardinia. Alessandro Grosso, Italy Country Manager for BYD and DENZA, represented the brand in Porto Cervo, underscoring a shared focus on innovation, design and modern experience.

The culinary programme brought together Adoria Caviar, D.Rock Champagne, La Scolca and a special wine selection from Il Palagio by Tony Sasa. Adoria's Signature Beluga, Asetra and Imperial caviars drew particular appreciation, while the dedicated D.Rock bar became a lively focal point throughout the night.

Hosted by Eleonora Incardona, wearing Chopard jewellery, the programme unfolded with a distinctly Mediterranean energy. Max Merseny opened the musical journey with sophisticated sounds, followed by the Esteriore Brothers, whose exuberant performance quickly had guests dancing.

The night's most anticipated moment arrived when Robbie Williams took the stage. His set ran for more than 80 minutes and began with Let Me Entertain You, a fitting declaration of intent. By the time Feel and Angels filled the Sardinian night, the distinction between performer and audience had almost disappeared.

For Maxim Berin, CEO of Berin Iglesias Art and Founder of BIG ART Festival, the emotional response was the true measure of the night. "It is difficult to reduce an evening like this to photographs or video. Robbie's connection with the audience was incredible, and Romazzino gave us a setting with a very special energy. This is exactly what we want BIG ART Festival to create, moments that people do not simply attend, but genuinely feel and remember."

The Sardinian edition also pointed toward BIG ART Festival's expanding international map. On October 10, the concept will arrive in Singapore for the first time, timed to the city's Formula 1 weekend. Capitol Kempinski Singapore will host the evening, with Busta Rhymes set to headline the festival's next major chapter.
